What platforms does EasyRoutes support?
EasyRoutes for Shopify is directly and seamlessly integrated with the Shopify platform, and is certified Built for Shopify indicating our commitment to exceed Shopify's highest standards for quality, design, and performance. EasyRoutes for Shopify also supports importing external orders/stops - via CSV files, EasyRoutes' API, or Zapier automations - whether collected offline or via another eCommerce sales channel.
EasyRoutes for Web does not integrate with Shopify directly, but supports importing orders and stops - via CSV files, EasyRoutes' API, or Zapier automations - using Shopify data, as well as order data from many other major eCommerce platforms, including Squarespace, WooCommerce, Wix, Xero, BigCommerce, or even directly from a Google Sheet.
Should I choose EasyRoutes for Shopify or EasyRoutes for Web for my business?
If your business operates using the Shopify platform, we recommend choosing EasyRoutes for Shopify. This will allow you to take full advantage of EasyRoutes' seamless integration with the Shopify Admin, automatic order fulfillment workflows, and other third-party apps listed in the Shopify App Store.
If your business operates using a platform other than Shopify, we recommend choosing EasyRoutes for Web. This will allow maximum flexibility in importing orders via CSV files, using EasyRoutes' API or Zapier templates for order import and other common automations, and does not require any route planning staff to have access to an active Shopify account.
Does EasyRoutes for Web offer the same features as EasyRoutes for Shopify?
The majority of EasyRoutes’ core route planning and optimization features are included in both products, including our intuitive user interface, customizable route options, and route planning via extensive filtering controls and visual map tools.
EasyRoutes features that rely on Shopify-native functionality or APIs (such as Shopify email & SMS notifications, order tags, subscription order generation, and fulfillment workflows) are not currently available on EasyRoutes for Web. Select EasyRoutes automation tools (including import automation rules and the Route Assistant) are also currently exclusive to EasyRoutes for Shopify.
Are there any differences in the driver experience between products?
Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and Web dispatch delivery routes to the same EasyRoutes Delivery Driver mobile app for iOS and Android.
Drivers will have access to the same easy-to-use navigation and inventory tools when delivering routes with either product. Driver-facing route planning features (such as assignable driver tasks and scheduled driver breaks) are also available on both platforms.
Are there any differences in the customer experience between products?
Customizable delivery status notifications (both email and SMS), order tracking pages including delivery ETAs, real-time driver location tracking, and Proof of Delivery (photos, eSignature, driver note, delivery GPS location) are all broadly supported on both EasyRoutes for Shopify and Web.
Customers receiving deliveries via either platform will benefit from the same user experience, tailored to meet your brand’s standards.
Do SMS usage fees, prorated monthly subscriptions, and driver seats function the same way for both products?
SMS usage fees and monthly pricing tiers are identical for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web, with the exception of our Free monthly pricing tier, which is currently only available on EasyRoutes for Shopify. EasyRoutes for both platforms continues to offer a free 14-day trial of any pricing tier for new users to give a advanced features a test drive. Both platforms function on the same driver seat model, where you only pay for the number of drivers that are active in your account at any time.
EasyRoutes for Shopify uses Shopify’s native billing tools for all subscription and SMS usage top-ups and monthly invoicing. EasyRoutes for Web functions on the same principles, but uses an independent billing provider offering industry-standard security and encryption for all transactions.
How do my route planners and other staff access EasyRoutes?
EasyRoutes for Shopify is seamlessly integrated into merchants’ Shopify Admin, and can be accessed directly from the navigation menu or search bar after logging into Shopify. Permissions to create, edit, and dispatch delivery routes are limited to the same individuals who have a Shopify user account with full login access to a store’s Shopify Admin.
EasyRoutes for Web uses a standalone web browser-based login, with no Shopify account required to sign up, import your orders, and access route planning tools. With EasyRoutes for Web, route planning administrators can invite additional users to their organization’s account who can then access select EasyRoutes functionality.
