Importing orders from BigCommerce

Note: view our Zapier webhooks and import integrations for more ways to connect to your BigCommerce store.

Planning optimized delivery routes using BigCommerce orders? Follow the steps below to export your orders from BigCommerce, and import them into EasyRoutes for delivery route planning.

Configuring BigCommerce exports:

Before exporting, you'll need to create a copy of the default BigCommerce order export template, and modify the following setting for maximum compatibility when exporting orders containing more than one product type:

  • Template Details tab > Advanced CSV Export Settings section > Sub Items setting: set to Create one row per sub item.

Save this updated template copy with a familiar name for quick access further along in the export workflow. Full details on editing templates for data export can be found in this BigCommerce support article.

Exporting from BigCommerce:

  1. From your BigCommerce dashboard, navigate to the Orders page from the sidebar menu:

  1. Using the checkboxes, select the orders you'd like to export. Alternatively, use the order status navigation tabs at the top of the page to filter which orders are displayed:

  2. From the Choose an action dropdown menu, select Export selected, then click the Confirm button beside it:

  3. On the following page, select the template copy edited above, select Export as csv, and click the Continue button:

  4. Follow the prompts to download your BigCommerce export.

Importing to EasyRoutes:

  1. Login to your EasyRoutes for Web account. From the Dashboard, click the Import new CSV button and select the CSV file exported from BigCommerce (or drag and drop the CSV file directly onto the button):

  1. Select Provide the address using multiple fields from the address import method section:

  1. Use the dropdown menus below to map the CSV's fields as follows - note that columns will only need to be mapped once when initially importing a CSV file; mappings will be saved to streamline importing of any future CSV files containing the same data format:
