Troubleshooting issues starting a route

  • Are you trying to update a stop's status before starting the route?
    • Merchants may configure EasyRoutes so that drivers are required to start a delivery route before they can make any delivery status or proof of delivery updates to that route's stops. To resolve, navigate to a route's overview page within the mobile app, and tap the green Start Delivery button before attempting to update stops again.
  • Does your Android or iOS device have the correct permissions to deliver routes?
    • It's possible that the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app has not been granted specific permissions (i.e. push notifications, location services, or activity permissions) that are required to successfully deliver routes. See this support article for further details on which permissions are required and further steps to resolution.
  • Does your Android or iOS device currently have access to the internet?
    • EasyRoutes supports delivering routes under certain limited connectivity situations, but an active internet connection is required to initially receive and view a dispatched route. Further details on using the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver mobile app in limited connectivity situations can be found in this support article.
