Troubleshooting display or text related issues

EasyRoutes is designed to support a wide variety of default display settings on both iOS and Android, but on occasion it may be helpful to adjust your display settings if you are experiencing layout issues in EasyRoutes.


If you are seeing certain text labels being cut-off, then the root cause is likely caused the following:

  1. Fonts are bolded as a system setting (on some Android devices)
  2. Fonts that are set a lot larger than the default may cause layout issues in rare device-specific scenarios

Suggested remedies if you are experiencing display issues:

  • Layouts will be improved the system fonts are not all bolded as a setting. Here is an example of how to disable this on Samsung android devices (e.g. Galaxy phones). Disable "Bold font" in phone settings:



  • Reduce the font size by 1 and reload the app until you no longer see layout issues.

In general, our app is designed to support a range of font sizes in our testing, but the tips above will fix the most common issues experienced on a small subset of devices with specific display settings.
