EasyRoutes for Shopify

Click into the Analytics tab from the EasyRoutes navigation menu to access analytics data for all your deliveries:

Note: Distance and weight values for all analytics reports will be displayed using metric (km/kg) or imperial standards (mi/lb), depending which is selected for your store from EasyRoutes Settings > General tab, within the Standards and formats section.

Time Period & Driver Options:

Select the time period to display analytics for, which time period to compare this data to (optional), and which driver(s) to break data down by using the three menus found at the top of the Analytics dashboard:

  • Time period: Select from preset time periods, or input a custom data range to view analytics for. Default value is Last 30 days.
  • Compare to: Select a secondary time period to compare data between the two periods. Default value is Previous period (i.e. the 30 days prior to the time period selected above)
  • Drivers: Select from any individual driver in your fleet, or opt to display data only for routes with Unassigned drivers. Default value is All drivers.

Note: When longer time periods are selected, analytics graphs will "zoom out" to display weekly or monthly intervals. To ensure graph intervals represent daily delivery data, ensure a time period of 30 days or shorter is selected.

Trend Line Options:

EasyRoutes provides a number of different ways to visualize trends across delivery data - choose from the following options in the trend line dropdown found in the upper right-hand side of the Analytics dashboard:

  • Linear: A linear trend line is a straight line that shows the general direction of your data. If your data is steadily increasing or decreasing, a linear trend line is a good fit. Imagine drawing a straight line through the middle of your data points to see the overall trend.
  • Logarithmic: A logarithmic trend line is a curve that is useful when your data increases or decreases quickly and then levels out. It's like starting fast and then slowing down, such as the initial rapid growth of a new business that eventually stabilizes.
  • Exponential: An exponential trend line is a curve that shows a consistent rate of increase or decrease. If your data grows faster and faster over time, like how a savings account grows with interest, an exponential trend line will show this pattern.
  • Polynomial: A polynomial trend line is a curve that fits data that goes up and down. It’s like connecting the peaks and valleys in your data. This type of trend line is useful when your data has fluctuations, like sales numbers that rise and fall throughout the year.
  • Moving average: A moving average trend line smooths out the data to show a clearer trend by averaging the data points. It’s like looking at the overall trend by ignoring short-term ups and downs, similar to averaging your daily steps over a week to see your overall activity level. This is the default trend line setting that will apply unless modified by the user.
  • Power: A power trend line is a curve used when your data increases at a specific rate. If your data grows faster as time goes on, like the speed of a car increasing over time, a power trend line will show this pattern.
