Unsubscribing a customer from SMS delivery notifications
If you've enabled and configured EasyRoutes delivery notifications for SMS some customers might eventually reach out and request that they be unsubscribed from SMS text message delivery notifications. All they have to do is reply with STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL or CANCEL to any of our previous texts and we’ll stop sending SMS to that number.
This is the industry standard practice at the moment and we use Twilio for sending these notifications. Please see more information on how that works in this Twilio support article.
